ORRVILLE, Ohio, July 20 /PRNewswire/ -- On July 20, 2001, the board of directors of The J. M. Smucker Company (NYSE: SJM), Orrville, Ohio, declared a 16 cents per share dividend on the common shares of the Company to be paid on September 4, 2001, to shareholders of record at the close of business on August 21, 2001.
